Our Vision
We aim to provide a healthy, vibrant, growing ministry that cherishes and relevantly reaches and teaches today's child. We see each little face as the promise of our church's future.
Note: Through August 29, we will have only one service at 9:30 am. Starting September 5, we will resume our normal two-service schedule at 9:00 am and 10:45 am. See below for details.
Curriculum
Early Childhood Sunday Mornings
Nursery — (Room 4): Birth to 2 years. Our nursery staff provides a safe environment for your baby to receive care and attention while you worship.
Just for Two's — (Room 3): Where toddlers have the opportunity to receive an introduction to God's Word through age-specialized teaching from Group Publishing’s Hands-On Bible Curriculum. This fall, we will focus on God's creation in three themes; God made the world, God made the animals, and God made me. Our desire is for your toddler to begin to understand how much their Heavenly Father loves them.
3's & 4's — (Room 2): Using Gospel Light's My God and Me curriculum, we will help your preschooler to grow more aware of God's love, care, and help in their everyday lives. Each Sunday morning your child will participate in several different active learning experiences related to a life lesson from the Bible. With active games, art projects, dramatic play and music, there is something appealing for every child.
5's & K's — (Room 1): This class is specifically designed for children who have already turned five and for all Kindergarten children. Also using Gospel Light's My God and Me curriculum as noted above, we include several enhancements suited to the growing abilities of 5 and 6 year olds. Our goal is to continue to build on their understanding of the foundational lessons from the Bible and to challenge them to live these lessons out in their expanding world of home, school, and community.
Elementary Sunday Mornings
Grades 1-2 — (Room 5): This fall, the first and second graders will be learning Bible truths through David C. Cook's Bible-in-Life series. This curriculum is specifically designed to help our younger elementary children grow not only in their knowledge of God, but in how to apply it in their everyday lives. The lessons will focus on stories from I and II Kings, and the book of Daniel.
Grades 3-5 — (Room 8): Our third, fourth, and fifth graders will enjoy their time in Children's Church by discovering more about prayer. Following the lessons of Group Publishing's Kid's Travel Guide to the Lord's Prayer, they will be led on a journey each Sunday to learn how God relates to them, and how they can relate to God. Our goal is that our older elementary children will grow in their understanding of what prayer is, and how to pray.

Family Sundays
Every fifth Sunday of the month in 2010 is a Family Sunday. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade will participate in the adult worship service with their family. This will give your children the opportunity to worship with you in your setting on August 29 and October 31, 2010.
