Grace Church of La Verne is made up of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are, we would love to have you join us!
We meet each Sunday in the gymnasium of Faith Lutheran High School, located at 3960 Fruit Street in La Verne, California.

We currently meet on Sunday mornings. Our service times are at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM.
If it is your first visit, you may want to come 10 minutes early and stop by our Guest Connection table to get acquainted with us. If you are driving, we have plenty of free parking on the Lutheran High campus near the gymnasium.
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in! We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up unless you want to. Our people can be seen dressed in everything from blue jeans to coat and tie; either is fine with us.
For some people, going anywhere the first time can be nerve-racking. To help avoid any worries, here's a quick summary of what you can expect at Grace. First, we aren't super spiritual beings; we all had a 'first day' at church. You'll find that we're a friendly bunch, so if you don't understand something, please simply ask. We won't ask you to stand up and introduce yourself or do anything that will be embarrassing. If you don't have a Bible, as you come in pick one up at the table just inside the entrance to the gymnasium--it's our free gift to you, so keep it if you like.
If you need physical assistance, directions or other information, please don't hesitate to ask. Any of our greeters will be happy to assist you, or stop by the Guest Connection table just outside the door--we are here to help!
Our services are contemporary and celebratory. We start our services with approximately a half hour of worship with music. Our worship time consists of modern songs (with guitars, keyboards, and drums). Pastor Chris Jackson or Pastor Jerry Johnson share a message from the Bible that relates to our modern lives. Our services generally last an hour and fifteen minutes. Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years, you'll be encouraged and inspired by the morning.
Between services, please join us outside the gymnasium for some tea or coffee and a pastry. We have a refreshment table outside where you are invited to linger and chat.
Grace is a fun place for kids! During the service, age-appropriate programming is provided for kids age 0 through 5th grade. We offer children's programming during both the 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM services. (Click HERE to learn more about our Children's Ministry.)
Be sure to show up a few minutes early so you have some time to sign your children in at the Children's Ministry check-in table. The tables are located outside the classrooms that are next to the Lutheran High gymnasium. The person at the check-in table will ask you to fill out a short form giving important information about your child (age, allergies, emergency contact information, etc.) and will help you find your child's classroom. Please return to pick up your child within ten minutes of the conclusion of the service.
We take every precaution necessary to ensure your child's safety while they are in our care. Each classroom is supervised by an adult (18 years or older) and one or more other volunteers (depending on class size) who have been screened for criminal and sexual misconduct. In addition, our volunteers follow established on-site safety procedures to protect and care for your child.

To become more acquainted with the church, we invite you to attend one of our Guest Connections for new visitors. These informal connection times take place the first Sunday of every month immediately following the service. At the Guest Connection, you'll get to know other people that are new to Grace Church as well as meet some of the church staff and leadership. No RSVP is required, so you're invited to attend at any time.
